About ICNDMT 2027

Where HCI meets neurodegenerative care

The International Conference on Neurodegenerative Disorders: Detection, Monitoring, and Therapeutics (ICNDMT 2027) marks the inaugural edition of this interdisciplinary conference, organised by IIT Mandi with a special focus on the emerging role of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) in the detection, monitoring, and management of neurodegenerative disorders. The conference brings together researchers, academicians, clinicians, doctors, healthcare professionals, industry experts, and pharmaceutical representatives to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration at the intersection of technology, neuroscience, medicine, and healthcare.

Particular emphasis will be placed on HCI, brain–computer interfaces, artificial intelligence, multimodal sensing, digital health, and other technology-driven approaches that support patient-centric healthcare — encouraging meaningful interaction between academia, hospitals, and industry to translate research innovations into clinically relevant, real-world solutions. The programme will feature invited talks, scientific presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions with distinguished experts from diverse fields.

Selected research contributions will undergo a peer-review process, with accepted conference papers planned for publication through Springer — giving researchers a route to share their work with the wider scientific community.

    Continuous, patient-centric monitoring via HCI, brain–computer interfaces, and multimodal sensing.
